Admissions Guidelines

Welcoming students from around the world

"At STEAM Education, we aim to make the admissions process clear, supportive, and family-friendly. As a non-selective and inclusive school group, we welcome applications year-round from students of all backgrounds, abilities, and nationalities."

Eligibility

Our schools operate under the supervision of the Swedish School Inspectorate (Skolinspektionen) and follow the Swedish Education Act regarding international schools. To be eligible for admission, students must either hold temporary residency in Sweden or meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • The student is residing in Sweden for a limited period.

  • The student has completed a significant portion of their education abroad and requires an international school environment in Sweden.

  • The student currently lives in Sweden but is preparing to relocate abroad for an extended period.

  • The student speaks the school’s language of instruction daily with one or both parents/guardians and has sufficient language skills to participate in learning.

Application Process

  1. Submit Application – Complete our online form and upload the required documents.

  2. Provide Student Information – Share previous school reports and any additional educational or language needs.

  3. School Review – Our admissions team carefully reviews the application to ensure we can provide the right support.

  4. Placement Offer – Families are contacted with a decision and next steps for enrollment.

Students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

As inclusive schools, we welcome students with additional educational needs whenever we can provide a meaningful and safe learning environment. Parents are required to inform us of any pre-existing educational, medical, or language needs during the application process so we can plan the best support.

Our Commitment

Our admissions process is designed to be transparent, fair, and supportive. From first inquiry to first day at school, our team is here to answer questions and guide families every step of the way.
