Respect, identity, and belonging

At STEAM Education, we value individuality and self-expression, while also recognising the importance of creating a sense of community and belonging within our schools.

In Sweden, school uniforms are not part of the national tradition, and we respect this cultural context. That’s why our approach is a balanced one:

  • We maintain a smart, practical dress code that reflects respect for learning and for one another.

  • We encourage students to express their personalities while promoting an atmosphere of equality and inclusion.

  • For certain school events, sports, and trips, students may wear STEAM-branded clothing to proudly represent their school community.

Our goal is simple: to create an environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and proud to be part of STEAM Education, without taking away the individuality that is highly valued in Swedish society.
