We are delighted to announce the opening of Gothenburg International School (GIS) in Mölndal, Gothenburg, welcoming students aged 5 to 18 from August 2026. GIS will provide a high-quality international education in Sweden based on the globally recognised Cambridge curriculum.
At Gothenburg International School, students will follow the Cambridge Pathway, progressing through Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE, and Cambridge A-Level. This structured academic journey is trusted by schools worldwide and prepares students for leading universities and global careers.
Our vision is to build a vibrant international school community where academic excellence, personal development, and global awareness grow together. Students at GIS will be encouraged to explore ideas, think critically, and develop the confidence to become independent learners.
The Cambridge curriculum is known for its strong academic standards and balanced approach to education. Alongside subject knowledge in areas such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities, students develop problem-solving, communication, research, and collaboration skills that prepare them for the future.
